i went to lokal (at the rosenthaler platz in berlin) yesterday. a really nice place, bar, kicker, and a dancefloor next to the bar room.

last night was the monthly “love techno hate germany” party, the third one from this new series. i took some pics, very trashy…
we arrived as t.i.a. and kol-jah, both from ://about:blank, were playing a very nice set. thing is in berlin, that often at raves, especially at political rave parties you get the same minimal stuff over and over. well in fact we love minimal, but not all minimal dj’s out there know how to take us to madness
. these two were playing more the rough progressive house style and it was really a joyfull night.

://about:blank – ok this pic really could be anything, but i promise, it’s the about:blank
first the crowd was totally young, later some more serious people joined the fun. i mean, i can really recommend this party, it definatelly has the potential to become a really great leftwing regular techno event. think you will find me there more often in the future.
later kalle kalectro was playing, a pretty young dj (at least he looks young) from the dj-network “arm aber sexy” (poor but sexy). he did his job pretty ok, but the beats were not so exciting anymore, so after a while we left, because we had had our fun here
.
