Sorry for not posting that earlier. Today I recieved a flyer and guess what .. Chris su is playing in Athens tonight in a location(Michanourgio) well known to the drum n bass /dubstep dynamics of the city. Chris su orginally from a city that I used to stay for a while (Budapest) , even though the drum n bass scene in the city is a bit down , remains a good place with much good artists such as Chris su. If you have not heard much before about Chris su , you can visit his myspace page http://www.myspace.com/chris.su . The event is organized by Funxion collective and as usual is without entrance. A special thanks to Funxion for this event with a lot of promising drum n bass dj/artist.
Freakuency is a new decentralized radio online in a testing level which is started after long discussions , little steps of development , searching for resources , sharing skills. We are definitely convinced that was the right way to start a radio project. A horizontal way with all of us participating in a beautiful decentralized process with one purpose: starting a new online radio project collective related to electronic music interests.
Finally we succeed , our efforts came out with results and our little radio is online. Techno , minimal dj sets , house tunes , progressive attitudes , underground concepts , supporting local scenes and artists , drum n bass , dubstep as well as electro releases are occupying the self organized DIY “studios of our decentralised radio , broadcasting from everywhere.
Our project is open to new contributions and ideas , the only thing you have to do is to send us an open letter to our email address , describing your ideas. If you re willing to do it we will be glad to reply to you as soon as possible. The day schedule of our radio is an open process for discussion , with our collective discussing every new idea and possibility. So feel free to share your ideas with us

Skream is holly shit , a fabulous dupstep dj and producer from the UK , based in Craydon (London) definitely responsible for dubstep genre’s developement. He released an absolutely fantastic album in 2006 on tempa records.The homonym album is just amazing even if you dont know all of the tracks I bet you know Midnight request line which is one of the most popular tracks of the album. I guess for the music collectors this album is a “must have it in my music library” , for dubstep djs , producers and listeners is education. highly recommended /required. This post is dedicated to my trance addicted friends which are many especially in Athens. Asura (a french based project , Lyon) for many years used to be one of the favorite bands in ambient trance circles especially in the south part of Europe. Since 1996, and its creation by Charles Farewell and Vincent Villuis, the project ASURA has polished a personal electronic universe sound, between psychedelic trance, Ambient and World music , released several good albums , most of them at ultimae records as well as several good EPs.I will certainly dedicated some lines next weeks or rather better ask Chrisoval to write something concerning their history , who really likes Asura. I have no idea if they have visited Athens before but anyways this time is a good oportunity to join a live P.A of them because the event is for freeh at Blend club organised by IT record shop for the 7 years of its existence.
This is probably one of the songs got me into techno as well as electronic music scene in general. 3njoy the lyrics and the environment of the track , most probably there are no tracks like this one anymore
A rather full on interesting event will take in London tonight. I received the info via email but unfortunately there is no flyer but who cares for a flyer when the party contains 3 stages full of electronic music. A psy trance stage , a minimal techno one and a chill lounge with live bands playing Reaggae dubs, MPB… & Djs playing ambient, Down Tempo music…. will probably attempt to satisfy everybody who will join the party. The people who are organizing the event are celebrating all of those birthdays bellow
