A live breakcore / noise set available for free download from the last party of Datacide magazine. You can also find it on datacide blog here . Actually if you like this stuff , this set is certainly interesting for you , personally Im not the biggest fan of this sound but in the end Im curious to listen more about it in order to get a better overview as well. As far as I experienced by living in Berlin some years , breakcore scene is growing/getting popular somehow especially in parties organized by x-squatted spaces. The reason Im posting this set here its also more or less to have your comments and opinions concerning breakcore / noise.
In Athens the previous years breakcore was also popular with many artists , people who follows etc. Im not sure if the same enthusiasm is going on at the moment.

Some weeks ago in Athens I ve met the guys behind the Dysphemic a fabulous , clever darkside drum n bass , Dubstep , breakcore glitch crew from Australia. We were hanging around in parties , such as rustie(dubstep) from the UK at bios as well as we drunk a couple of beers together , talked about music etc. Dysphemic was on tour in Europe for some time , you can find the highlights of this tour on their website which is http://dysphemic.com. I ve also got the demo with a rather good electronic music divided in two parts , really clever and dark vibes , good breaks and dance rhythms totally gave me a good inspiration I need for checking further details, their videos and website. One of the most remarkable things is the way they perform , I suggest check their videos on the website. In Athens they played in a real underground location at Piraeus (port of Athens) with not much equipment but as I heard it was really great. I felt that I really wanted to dedicate some lines regarding this awesome shit from Australia also because we had a great time together , all of the guys deserve RESPECT .. So I would like to greeting them , I wish to see them again soon and I should attend to the next live the next time…
”Audio Vandalism” is an experimental electronic album with many noise elements.
The album creators, ‘Zeller’ are from France they have influence such as dark dubstep , Breakcore and industrial.
Zeller, with their last work and lot of live plays, managed to be established to into the electronic-experimental audience in France and all around Europe. They clearlly Have an underground profile and by bringing all those sounds together, came to do a very positive resault at Dark dubstep Scene…

Freakuency is a new decentralized radio online in a testing level which is started after long discussions , little steps of development , searching for resources , sharing skills. We are definitely convinced that was the right way to start a radio project. A horizontal way with all of us participating in a beautiful decentralized process with one purpose: starting a new online radio project collective related to electronic music interests.
Finally we succeed , our efforts came out with results and our little radio is online. Techno , minimal dj sets , house tunes , progressive attitudes , underground concepts , supporting local scenes and artists , drum n bass , dubstep as well as electro releases are occupying the self organized DIY “studios of our decentralised radio , broadcasting from everywhere.
Our project is open to new contributions and ideas , the only thing you have to do is to send us an open letter to our email address , describing your ideas. If you re willing to do it we will be glad to reply to you as soon as possible. The day schedule of our radio is an open process for discussion , with our collective discussing every new idea and possibility. So feel free to share your ideas with us

Finally an underground , no profit , autonomous self organized event this Friday in Athens by the collectives Aposidonismos and creative space . Dubstep , techno and electro breaks will take place at Technological institute of Piraeus (petrou rali ave + thivon) , that it might be a bit problem if you dont live close to this area. So far the parties by Aposidonismos and other underground collectives in Athens are a bit unanticipated. You never know what to expect but definitely if you like dubstep and techno , this is the best recommendation for Friday night in Athens and certainly for free. I m gonna be there 100% , I will write an essential report afterwards here. The most relentless Sub/Version release so far! Two mighty tracks combining a wall of sound with rave hyper-energy. Side A “Kompressorwahn” kicks off with stepping tension-oriented rave-esque melodies quickly culminating in the most extreme pounding beats that throttle your nerves and whip the dancefloor into a frenzy with no end in sight. Amboss keeps up the pressure with the side B track titled “Avenida Paulista” in which hard industrial effects, intense frequencies and relentless beats are pushed to the limit. Deemed to be “too hard” for some, Sub/Version 014 by Amboss demolishes all other drum and bass tracks around thus demonstrating the possibilities for further explorations in hybrid extreme sounds.

Darkmatter Soundsystem frequents their third visit to vinyl (DM12003) this time around with the Southern California native Poxxe. The 12″ kicks off with a screaming dubstep floorkiller titled “The Malfunction” sure to incite soundsystems and crowds. Next up is the rattling tear out breakcore track titled “Funky Lizard” with Minion on the collab. On the flip side, the two tracks “Yellular” & “Plastic Hip” explore the more sparse rhythms and tones of Poxxe’s sound. A strong follow up to the label’s previous release (DM12001) “Minion – Bored In The U.S.A. EP.”

If you live in Athens , visit or whatever , dont miss tonight a hip hop , drum n bass , breakbeat and probably dubstep event. A hip hop crew in collaboration with the collective of FUNXION will keep you awake until late in the morning tonight. The live event will take place at the strefi hill in the very heart of exarchia. In my point of view , this is the best recomendation for tonight in the city , without ignoring the problem that the events have the same concept always , something that for a lot of people make it a bit borring , as I heard yesterday night by some friends. If the weather is bad the event will move in Politechnical university , 5 min walking.
