Last week I presented a new selection for the shituationist institute including several dancefloor liquid trqcks such as devotion by Grafix. Grafix sound reminds a lot of netsky tracks. Last year Grafix released two gorgeous tracks at pristine records that you might find intersting for your music library. Night shift and take your time , in a proper hospital style available for download by urban music . Anyways you can listen to them as well bellow this post.
Pop Projekt – Pop Projekt
Yello – Oh Yeah
Justin Drake & Kevin Griffiths – Nightmoves (alternate)
Solomun – Daddys Jam (D´Julz Remix)
Dewalta – Stringer Bell
Gavin Herlihy – Underneath the Wind Machine
Andomat 3000 – ???
Tim Xavier & Camea – You Control Myself (Velvet Edit)
I´ve finally managed to upload some stuff that got produced on my PC during the last 4 years with different projects to Soundcloud. Mostly its more experimental stuff, sometimes harmonic, sometimes noisy and sometimes just chaotic
Today by surfing on the internet , more specific at the website of the Berlin breakcore label PRAXIS , i found this new release of Vile Enginez with a perfect explosive sound and rather underground atmosphere . Hard breaks , fast broken beats aka breakcore style track available for download on the online shop of Praxis here . If you like breakcore , this is the first track who inspired me after long time to listen for a second time.
The 5th release in the Sub/Version digital series is out now! Vile Enginez is back with a breakcore infused hard tune – check it out here:
Today we present you ”a set against atomic power & for the reconciliation of cultures! ” by Dr.Nojoke from Berlin. He plays experimental techno livesets using plastic bottles, radios and other unsual stuff to create “a funky, minimal, quirky, experimental micro-cut-up-music”, which he defines as Clikno. This set was recorded at an Netaudio-Party in Leipzig, organised by the Essential Existence Gallery and the Netlabel Auflegware . You can see him live on the 27th of May, when will come around to the AKNE & Shituationist Institute Party, which will take place at Levee Club in Berlin, to play an special 2h set.
This Saturday we are proud to present you a new mix, prepared by one of our favourite Berlin- Djs Zweifuss and dedicated to the Shituationist Institute. As always he combines jazzy and freaky house tunes with funky, swinging basslines and creates an catchy, seducing mixture far away from common club-music.
The mix starts very slow and loungy with some dubby tunes and is moving forward to some energizing jazz stuff with lots of hammond-sounds, which are - among the offbeat-strings – characterizing this mix. After some excursions into the fields of funky disco music, Zweifuss is getting back to the jazzy tunes and brings down the mix perfectly with some relaxed housy tracks.
You can have a look for an Interview with Zweifuss, we had some weeks ago here .
For those, who want to see Zweifuss live on the Decks here are his upcoming gigs:
Fusky is a great new techno artist located in Athens, released a new EP on globox digital. Fusky is well known to our local Athens crew because of the last party of shituationist institute in Athens (24th of December). Fusky was one of that party’s lineup , offered a spectacular live set . Actually , according my impression after the live set of fusky at shituationist institute Athens vol2 , I was expecting something familliar as the next step of fusky’s music production. The new EP, released on 24th of January, which means the release is fresh and we are probably the first blog online writing a review concerning this EP — is definitely a satisfaction for those who love the sound of minimal and techno. Somehow the sound reminds me one of the best summers of my life , that one of 2007 where a lot of great parties and events took place in Europe especially in Berlin. I invite everyone to have a listen preview of this nice EP on beatport as well as , why not? buying this new EP here and support the artist . With no doubt this release is recommended.

This set represents exactly my definition of dubstep. Instead the “aggressive” with no sense sets that you can find at parties in Athens for instance , this set is melodic , some times fast and certainly clever. In my opinion this set is great and gives me motivation to keep on following dubstep scene. Even though I didnt contribute anything at this blog in the recent past concerning my impressions , easily especially people who know me in person understand that I am fully disappointed with the scene’s “progress” here.
I will try to explain as soon as i will articulate my thoughts properly. Therefore the next weeks expect an extend criticism , how I experienced dubstep scene in Greece the last months , how and why it became so hyped , what kind of people are currently following the scene etc. Considering the situation as well as having a clear view I feel like to put myself into this debate… any help and comments are welcome…
This track is fabulous , I cant stop listening to it the last days. A special thanks to drofnothing for sending me the link as well as adding this track to our soundcloud favorite list.
