This is my new pop mainstream dubstep compilation for the beginning of the year for the shituationist institute blog.Actually I don’t really like this mix as much as the previous ones, especially the sunny coffee break at my balcony vol.1, but some friends encouraged me to post it around.On this mix, you can find few of very mainstream tracks especially in the UK at the moment. This is my new mini compilation of 7 tracks as I promise yesterday including tracks from hospital label , free recordings , metalheadz , tecnique recordings. Actually all of the tracks were presented by me the last weeks
This is a nice compilation by artist recordings , an independent? net label based in London including 7 nice drum n bass and dubstep tracks by various artists. Apparently as We are used to do every Thursday at this blog , all the tracks are free to download. Most of the tracks in this release are rather melodic and good tunes for the dancefloor , this is a good reason for me to make a new mixtape including some of them. This is actually one of the best drum n bass free downloads posts I ever did so far , therefore I recommend you to give those tracks a change.
I would especially like to remark (from the first cloud) the track 7 , a cool dubstep tune with gorgeous melodic samples and lyrics as well as the track 2 which is a drum n bass , close to the liquid atmospheric stuff.
Furthermore I dont know much this label , it seems that releases tracks regularly , offering artists an opportunity to get some publicity? this is at least what I got by reading their description on soundcloud. Certainly drum n bass in our days is outdated and apart from those super commercial releases such as Camo and Krooked or either Chase and Status , its hard to find cool free tunes online? You may noticed that part of our efforts at this blog is to discover and find non popular cool electronic music and as We constantly mention , you re always welcome to send us your stuff.
The Austrian liquid drum n bass duo is back with 2 new EPs from the upcoming album cross the line soon available for download in digital format as well as vinyl. From what I listened both (all fall down and make the call) are following the style of the previous album , pop vocals , fast melodic drum n bass , with no doubt trying to reach the mainstream audience. The album is about to be released soon on hospital label , you can buy this release on their website indeed .
I cant really write here that I was fully impressed by both of the EPs , perhaps the only exception could be the track In The Future (feat. Jenna G & Futurebound) and this is because I like Jenna’s vocals. Make the call in both mixes – drum n bass and dubstep was too mainstream for my taste , but easy listening indeed. I rather wait to listen the whole album and write more extensively. You can instantly have a preview of all the track included those new Camo and Krooked release on their myspace here .
