The floating garden – Stettin 2050 Project aims at development and promoting the city  in North-Western Poland. One of the best events this summer, connected to the project, is Szczecin Rock Festival.

Bands present on the Festival: Manic Street Preachers, Limp Bizkit, Chris Cornell and Kaiser Chiefs. The polish bands will include: Happysad, Hey, Izrael, Lipali and Myslovitz. The two great local bands won in a contest of taking part in the concert as well. We will see on the stage: sPiątkuNaSobotę and Devil Inside – Szczecin performers.

Launched in 1986, Manic Street Preachers have enjoyed international success with a string of hits, including “She Is Suffering”, “A Design For Life”, and “If You Tolerate This, Your Children Will Be Next”.  The bands members include founders James Dean Bradfield, Nicky Wire, Sean Moore and Richey Edwards.
