The annual Athens Pride , a festival for LGBT rights is scheduled from May 31 to June 4. Even if you don’t agree with the background of the organizers , supporting the Pride is crucial itself. First because in Greece of 21st century , basic human rights are suppressed. Secondly because gender discrimination and racism is a daily issue in “civilized” Greece. Supporting the pride also means a mobilization against Greek orthodox fundamentalism and Nazis who try to attack the pride every year as it happens anywhere where Nazis exist. Therefore We are expecting you there 😉
