Excerpts from 1996′ French documentary Universal Techno featuring Juan Atkins & Derrick May.  Extend a description of the Detroit scene as well as the music progress through the concept of some of the greatest techno artists of that time. Besides techno scene and discussion you could find an interesting view of the big US metropolis , the life conditions and depressing environment. Somehow Juan Atkins put some efforts to analyse the reasons , why techno  growed so fast the previous decades there. With no doubt this film is absolutely spectacular , a good introduction for those who are interest on the history of techno in the states and beyond.
